McLean, VA – 20twenty Strategic Consulting announced today that the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) has selected 20twenty to audit, evaluate and document the NROR registry system.
“We have been developing a pilot of a registry system and we needed to identify a company that has the discipline and methodologies to successfully audit, document and provide recommendations to improve the system, said Smith Bullington, ASTRO Director of Information Technology. “We selected 20twenty because they have substantial experience working with registries and an effective methodology for understanding and documenting systems and business processes.”
20twenty and ASTRO will first focus on auditing and documenting the NROR registry system to allow ASTRO to deploy the pilot and support the research on one disease at 17-30 sites. In 2015, ASTRO plans to deploy the system nationally and support multiple diseases and multiple modalities.
“20twenty is thrilled to be working with ASTRO, an industry leader in radiation oncology, on their registry project,” said Steve Giddens, 20twenty President. “We have assembled a team with extensive registry experience and expect to be able to help them audit and architect a world-class solution for their members and constituents.”
